It was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century, is over 25 meters high and it is made ofgranite. Then continue to visit the Catacombsof KOM El-Shokafa Tombs which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock.
Then you will proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel which was built on the site of the ancient and famous Pharaohs Lighthouse of Alexandria,and then you will visit the Alexandria library the largest library in the middle-east.
