Day 1: Luxor to Aswan day Tours
Your tour guide from Alexander Travel will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and transfer you to Aswan for a full day trip to visit the High Dam, built in 1960 by an engineering miracle protecting Egypt from annual floods from the Nile.
Then you will continue on to visit the Unfinished Obelisk which shows the techniques used by the ancientEgyptians to cut obelisks. Most probably this obelisk belonged to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers ofthe 18th dynasty, there is an opinion said that it belonged to Queen Nefertiti.
Then procced to visit the majestic Philae Temple which was built in honor of the Goddess Isis the chief deity of the island and it is inside Elifanteen Island.
After you finish your day trip in Aswan you will be transferred to your hotel in Aswan for check-in and overnight in Aswan.
Day 2: Abu Simbel Temple from Aswan
Early morning 3:30 AM you will start your trip to Abu Simbel
You will enjoy visiting the Great Temple of Ramses II which was discovered by accident in 1813 by Giovani Belzoni. This temple was dedicated to the four universal gods:Ptah, Ra-Her Akhtey, Amun-Ra, and to Ramsses II himself. This temple transferred from the original site to the new location 500m because of flooding of the Nile.
Also, you will see the the Temple of Queen Nefertari, which is also called the Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God.
After visiting Abu Simbel you will have your lunch at local restaurant in Aswan with free time at leisure and then you will travel back to your hotel in Luxor.
